How To Measure.
Neck. Measuring your collar is simple; just measure around the base of your neck where the shirts collar would normally sit.
Chest. Take the tape measure and wrap it around your chest at the widest part (usually this will be just under the arms). Make sure you place the tape close up under your arms as well as checking that the tape is well up at the back making a circle around the chest and over the shoulder blades.
Waist. Measure around the natural waistline and over any under garments that might be normally worn.
Sleeve. Measure from the middle of the back of your collar, over the top of your shoulder down to the point where you want the sleeve to end. If you find that your sleeve length falls between two of our sizes, choose the longer of the two.

Longshot Apparel shirts are designed for tall and fit men who stand from 6' to 6'10" (1.83-2.08m). We have developed our own unique fit and sizing model we call Tailored Taller Fit. Longshot takes a different approach to fit than most big and tall shirt companies. Because we found the traditional sizing to be confusing and inconsistent, we created a new size system in order to make it simple to find your size. As we like to say, we take the big out of big and tall shirts.
Four Sizes. There are 4 core body/torso sizes with two sleeve options for each size. We use a simple numeric system for our sizing (1, 2, 3, 4).
Two Sleeve Length Options. We have two sleeve options. You can choose a “Regular” or a “Long” sleeve on each of our core body sizes. Our regular sleeve length runs about 1”-2” longer than most of the competitive brands (our sizes 1-4). Our “L” sleeve option is 2” longer than our regular size and is 38” in our size 1 and 39” in sizes 2-4 (choose the "L" option for our sizes 1-4).
Size 1. Fits men 6'0"-6'2” (1.83-1.88m). May also fit extra lean men up to approx. 6'4" (1.93m).
- You often wear medium tall or large in other brands.
- You fit a size 38-42 sport coat.
Size 2. Fits men 6'2"-6'4” (1.88-1.93m). May also fit extra lean men up to approx. 6'6” (1.98m).
- You often wear large or extra-large in other brands.
- You fit a size 40-44 sport coat.
Size 3. Fits men 6'4"-6'6" (1.93-1.98m). May also fit extra lean men up to approx. 6'8" (2.03m).
- You often wear extra-large or 2XL in other brands.
- You fit a size 42-46 sport coat.
Size 4. Fits men 6'6"-6'8" (1.98m-2.03m). May also fit extra lean men up to approx. 6’10” (2.08m).
- You often wear a 2XL or larger in other brands.
- You fit a size 44-48 sport coat.
In a perfect world you’d go measure yourself (see our sizing table) but, if you’ve lost your tape measure the guidelines above should help you to determine your Longshot fit.
