Yankee’s and Yogi

In light of the Yankees attempting to take some news headlines with the Detroit Tigers, I thought I would put together the tallest quotes from Yogi Berra as a throwback to see if it will give the Yankees the Longshot they need!

“Baseball is 90% mental. The other half is physical.” (Ok, this is half true)

“How can you hit and think at the same time?”

“We made too many wrong mistakes.”

“Nobody goes there anymore because it’s too crowded.” (I think I’ve actually used this)

“So I’m ugly. So what? I never saw anyone hit with his face.”

“The future ain’t what it used to be.”

“I think little league is wonderful. It keeps the kids out of the house.”

“I never said most of the things I said.”

Berra may not be tall, but his personality sure was. Pitcher A.J. Burnett (6’4″) did a fine job tonight in game 4 showing his tall stature on the mound for the Yankees. Yogi is knocking on wood for him though.

Baseball season is about to get interesting, keep up with ESPN to have the latest scores and highlights.
