This week marks the annual playing of The Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. It is one of the most prestigious events in golf and is also one of the most difficult to qualify for with approximately 100 spots going to a combination of professionals and amateurs who have met some very rigorous criteria to be invited to play the hallowed course. Of course the field will be well represented by the tall crowd with about 30% of the players being over 6’ tall. Robert Karlsson of Sweden is the tallest at 6’5” making Tiger Woods look a bit short at 6’1.” Phil Michelson (6’3”) won last year and is a 3-time Masters Champion. He won last weekend at the Shell Houston Open and I think he may be sporting another green jacket Sunday. I can’t wait for the official start on Thursday. Which Longshot shirt goes best with green? Maybe the new Leadon Gingham…
