Blake Shelton is a Tall Country Boy for All
I dig Blake Shelton. When I saw him perform on The Voice, he was belting it out and towering over his young protégés in one performance – he was something to behold at 6-foot-5. But want first made an impression was his earnest and sincere conviction to help the young participants on the show truly develop their talent. And on reality television, how many people are this way rather than really crazy or unstable? Blake Shelton is who he is. And guys let me get sappy – he has a big heart.

Being a little out of the country music scene aside from on my summer road trips, I had no idea who Mr. Shelton was. But what I like is his quiet confidence. He thinks before hespeaks. And he has a bit of edge to his wardrobe wearing some well-fitting button downs but always offering a peek of an unsuspecting tattoo circling his forearm.
According to a recent feature on him in The New York Times, Blake Shelton is one half of country music’s new first couple. He and Miranda Lamberttied the knot earlier this year – wait another tall guy with a short partner takes hold. Miranda is only 5’4’! Looking forward to seeing him more in the future and love the fact that he is keeping country tall.
