frequently asked questions

We've tried to anticipate all your questions here, but we're tall, not psychic (at least not yet). If you have any questions that are not listed below, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to respond to you in a timely manner.
How much is shipping?
Doing business with Longshot Apparel is simple and easy. Domestic ground shipping via UPS is always free. If you're an international customer, we ship via DHL and charge you exactly what they charge us for your initial outbound shipment.
What is your return policy?
For any shirt, at any time, for any reason we will accommodate a return. We value your business and support and we’ll do anything we can to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase. We pay for shipping on domestic returns and exchanges (UPS Ground).
For customers outside the USA, our carriers currently don't allow us to pay for return shipping on international returns, but if you make an exchange, we'll gladly ship your exchange back to you at no cost. If you received your Longshot shirt as a gift, we’re happy to help with your gift exchange.
If you have any questions please call us at (800) 682-2430 or drop us an email at info@longshotapparel.com.
How do I print a return shipping label?
We will send you an email with a link to UPS where you can follow their instructions to print out a label from your printer. Place the return slip in the box with your item, then drop your package off at your nearest UPS location.
What kind of shirts does Longshot Apparel make?
Longshot focuses solely on making perfect-fitting woven shirts for tall and fit men. Longshot shirts are ready-to-wear casual shirts that can be dressed up or dressed down. Ideal for an important business meeting sans tie or for a night out, our shirt design is meant to be versatile and always in style.
What size Longshot shirt should I buy?
We started from scratch to redefine fit for the tall man and developed our own simplified sizing to make it easy for you to determine your Tailored Taller size. Click here to get to our sizing section.
How is Longshot shirt tall sizing different from other companies?
Longshot shirts are made to fit the tall and relatively fit guy. We believe a guy doesn’t have to be big to be tall. Shirt bodies are made to fit narrower, sleeves longer and fitted. Our shirts have less fabric where you don’t need it and more coverage for naked wrists.
Will the sleeves on Longshot shirts be long enough?
Longshot shirts have two size variations, Regular (which are 1”-2” longer than most shirts out there) or Long (3 inches longer than most shirts). If you find your sleeves are always many inches too short you are likely a size Long in our shirts. If the sleeves usually fall a little short we recommend the Regular length sleeve.
Where are your shirts made?
Our shirts are made in the USA and we are proud to be part of what we believe to be a growing resurgence. We believe that American-made clothing possesses a unique quality that simply can’t be duplicated by imports.
What kind of fabrics do you use?
Our suppliers are among the most sought after mills in Italy and we feature Thomas Mason, Monti, Albini and Albiate fabrics.
How do I care for my Longshot shirt?
We recommend that you machine wash your Longshot shirt in warm water and hang to dry. Press with a warm iron while slightly damp for best results. Some irons have a steam setting which is a nice feature to use on cotton shirts like ours. If you choose to launder professionally we recommend light starch. Dry cleaning is not recommended.
What about shrinkage?
Shrinkage is minimal on woven shirts. Length has been added to the design to compensate for any shrinkage. Neck width, arm length and overall length will see nominal shrinkage.
Why don’t you have more shirt styles?
We’re a small start up and our desire is to make shopping simple for tall guys everywhere who have been frustrated with shopping their entire lives. The Lawson shirt is our flagship style and we wanted to focus our offering to get the right shirt with the right fit for you. Longshot apparel doesn’t want to have hundreds of models and colors – but we will be introducing several new styles and colors in the next year.
